Tsisqan Lodge

Dustin is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor candidate of Tsisqan Lodge. Previously, Dustin has served as senior patrol leader, Venturing crew president, unit OA representative, chapter chief, lodge administrative vice chief, assistant Scoutmaster and camp staff at Camp Baker. Dustin has attended NYLT and is a recipient of the Tsisqan Lodge Arrowman of the Year Award. 

In his free time, Dustin enjoys petting his cat and listening to music. 

What is a fun fact about yourself?
“I can Mongolian Throat Sing and knap obsidian arrowheads and atlatl points.”

What are your educational goals?
“I’m currently in my final year of high school and taking college credits to graduate with an associate’s degree alongside my diploma. I plan to attend OSU and study education with a focus in mathematics.”

What are some of your personal goals?
“My personal goals this year are to finish school strong and get enough sleep each night.”

What do you hope to accomplish in your position this year?
“My main goal in my second term as lodge chief is to assist my membership vice chief in working to recover from Tsisqan’s membership deficit as a result of COVID-19. “

What is your favorite Scouting memory?
“My favorite Scouting memory has to be the culmination of all my time staffing at Camp Baker. Its seems like every moment I’m there is my favorite.”

If you could be any Disney princess, which one would you be an why?
“If I were to be a Disney princess, I would probably go with Mulan (minus the hair cutting part).”
