Associate Section Adviser

Wauna La-Mon'tay Lodge

Brian is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of Wauna La-Mon’tay Lodge. Previously, Brian has served as section chief, section vice chief, lodge chief, and a conclave vice chief adviser in both Section W-1S and W-1N. Brian is a Founder’s Award and section Arrow of Honor recipient. 

In his free time, Brian enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with his wife Kyleigh and their dog Beauford. He also enjoys outdoor cooking for his friends and family. 

What is a fun fact about yourself?
“Outside of Scouting, I build buildings.”

What are your educational goals?
“Visit every national park and learn something new at each one.

What do you hope to accomplish in your position this year?
“Make sure the youth of our section have the tools they need to grow and that they deliver an outstanding program. “

What is your favorite Scouting memory? 
“Hands down my favorite Scouting memories were, as a youth, I participated in OA Trail Crew and OA Wilderness Voyage. I highly recommend that every youth consider attending these OA High Adventure programs. I have lifelong friends that I met in the Northwoods and at Philmont.” 

If you could be any Disney princess, which one would you be and why?
“I wouldn’t. They are all so good at it. I do appreciate Merida’s adventurous spirit and hope we can all live our lives with courage.”
